Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 June 2026
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, all strictly necessary to make Rekka work. We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling or third-party tracking.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device to remember information between page loads. Similar technologies include the browser's local and session storage. In this policy, "cookie" refers to all of these.
2. The cookies we use
Every cookie listed below is strictly necessary: without them, essential functions such as staying signed in or remembering your language would not work. Under EU ePrivacy rules, strictly-necessary cookies do not require your consent. They are listed here for transparency.
| Name | Purpose | Set by | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication session | Keeps you signed in to your workspace after login. | Supabase (on app.rekka.app) | Until the login session expires (typically 1 hour, refreshed automatically) |
| Refresh token | Lets the app renew your session without asking you to sign in again. | Supabase (on app.rekka.app) | Up to 30 days, until logout |
| Avatar cache | Caches the temporary link to your profile picture so we do not regenerate it on every page. | Rekka (httpOnly cookie on app.rekka.app) | Up to its short expiry, then refreshed |
| Language preference (rekka-lang) | Remembers your selected language (English, Italian or Polish) so the site and app load in it. | Rekka | Up to 12 months |
| Cookie notice acknowledgement | Records that you have seen the cookie banner so we do not show it on every visit. | Rekka (browser local storage) | 12 months |
3. What we do not use
We currently do not use:
- Advertising or marketing cookies.
- Third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and the like).
- Cross-site tracking technologies.
- Social-media embed cookies.
If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie.
4. Third-party resources and incidental cookies
Some pages of the marketing site load resources from third-party providers (for example web fonts served from a public CDN). Those providers may receive your IP address as a technical necessity of serving the file. We do not control those resources and do not use them to track you. The current third-party resources are:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com), used to load the site's typefaces on the marketing site.
5. How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Instructions vary by browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking the authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in to your workspace.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
